This workshop is for those willing to step out of their comfort zone and jump into the world of confident and expressive paint application! You will embark on a series of from-the-hip exercises that will help you develop a more painterly style.

Anne will demonstrate her process and methods for creating movement and energy in her paintings. She will show you how she sets herself up for success at the beginning to ensure plenty of “play-time” with interpretive brushwork and color mixing. Students will come away with a deeper knowledge of how to eliminate fussy detail and make a brushstroke count!

Come ready to work hard and be open to experimenting with new approaches to painting!
