This 3 month online program is for those artists seeking an immersive learning experience with long term guidance. Different than a workshop, we’ll focus on you and your individual needs. Limited to 8 students.

Learning online is a great option for those who appreciate a longer time to digest information, practice painting exercises, and generally work around day to day responsibilities…right from the comfort of your own studio.

We’ll start with a 1 hour Zoom orientation session Thursday, January 9. In that session, we’ll map out the itinerary for the 3 month period and set a course for your personal growth.

Then we will meet on Zoom 2 times a month, 10am-12pm Central Time on Thursdays:

February 13, 27

March 13, 27

The intimate size of our group will lend to maximum learning potential for each individual. Sessions will include demos and brief presentation but will lean toward discussion and critique/review. Homework assignments will keep you painting and on track through the 3 month period. Between Zoom meetings, we’ll stay in touch through online group forum and email.

My goal in these sessions is to provide a safe, noncompetitive learning environment where you can explore and grow at a steady pace.

You’ll receive:

• 12 hrs of live instruction plus interaction with other students

• weekly communication via email and online forum where you can submit homework images and any other painting images for detailed review/critique

• an extensive digital guidebook with fundamental and higher-level painting concepts discussed in the program

• a second digital notebook containing all session exercises with detailed instructions

• a personalized plan for continued growth

• lifetime access to all session Zoom recordings.
