In this workshop, Trey & Anne share their passion for Gouache, Acrylics, and Water Soluble Oil Paint. They will show you the flexibility and versatility of using any or all of these three mediums in your painting practice, how they can enhance your creativity and “playtime” in and out of the studio (solvent-free!), and how they can inform all genres of painting.

Demonstrations and discussions will include:

-Gouache techniques and how to “own” your color

-The best Acrylics (buttery!) on the market and how to make the most of their fast drying time

-Acrylic underpainting as a roadmap for your oils

-The best Water Soluble Oils (also buttery!) and the similarities/differences to traditional oil

You’ll have a front row seat to demonstrations and presentations, and all you have to do is sit back, relax, and learn!

We’ll give you exercises to work on between classes, and provide an online forum to stay in touch, review your homework, and give you feedback.
