Enjoying the Plein Air Experience

This workshop will be a relaxing, fun-filled study of the fundamentals of the plein air experience. Anne will share her secrets for capturing radiant light effects while demonstrating her methods for expressive brushwork, dynamic design, and color harmony. She will lead you through exercises in value and composition to reinforce your ability to “see” in the outdoor setting. Personal vision will be emphasized. Discussions will include choosing the proper plein air equipment, maximizing your time outdoors, and how to bring your outdoor painting experience back into the studio.
The workshop is for all levels of painters who want to learn the time-honored joy of plein air painting.
