About the Artist about

Statement

"I am more a listener than a talker, and listening lends to observing. My daily observations inspire me to document on canvas moments that others might not have noticed. This is what fuels my journey as an artist. That, and I'm incredibly bad at math."

“My work centers on people, interior spaces, and urban landscapes. The goal with each painting is to transport the viewer to a relaxing place where sensory pleasures abound. As a former chef, my passion for restaurants and cafes is reflected in my work, as well as a love of the buildings and streets that mark everyday existence. When a viewer connects with my painting such that they feel present in the moment, I know I have been successful.”
